Michael Medrado holds a BA in Chemistry and an AAS in Chemical Engineering Technology. He has spent his career in analytical chemistry and chromatography — running GC, HPLC, GPC, and VUV spectroscopy instruments, developing methods, validating results, and solving problems in the lab.
In 2024, Michael won Presentation of the Year for his work on VUV spectroscopy detection, demonstrating a novel approach to gas chromatographic analysis using broadband vacuum ultraviolet absorbance data.
He is also the author of Inertia: The Philosophy, a book exploring how momentum and resistance shape decisions, systems, and innovation.
